Here at South Tweed Dental, we believe that children should enjoy a comfortable and stress-free dental visit. With the right guidance, children easily develop a positive approach to dental visits that helps to promote great oral hygiene habits.
To ensure that we can give your little one their best smile for life, it is vital that children start their dental visits early and look after their primary (baby) teeth to minimise the risk of tooth decay, and prevent orthodontic (crowding) problems as they grow older.
At South Tweed Dental, we provide Medicare Bulk Billing for all dental services that are covered under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). Established in January 2014 to provide dental treatment to eligible children aged between 2 and 17 years (inclusive), this means that you will have NO out-of-pocket costs or gap payments for your child’s dental procedures.
Families receiving Family Tax Benefit Part A or other Government payments are eligible (e.g. Youth Allowance, Disability Support Pension and Parenting Payment). For more information or to enquire about your child’s eligibility, please contact us on (07) 5523 2888 or fill in the convenient form below with your child’s Medicare card details, alternatively you can contact Medicare directly.
